Your proposal
What to include.
You don't need a finished manuscript to reach out — a clear proposal is enough to start the conversation. Where you can, please include:
- A working title and a short overview of the book.
- The contribution it makes — and why it matters now.
- The intended audience: who needs to read it, and where.
- Comparable or competing titles, and how yours differs.
- An estimate of length, illustrations, and timeline.
- A short note about you: background, affiliations, expertise.
- A table of contents and any sample chapters, if available.
- One or two suggested expert reviewers (not close colleagues).
